I have taken the herbal tea (for 15 days now) which you sent to me and the western medicine (steroid 50 mg/day + Ciclosporin A 250 mg/day + ACE blocker + antagonist) and I am happy that my proteinurie has decreased to 1,4 g/day (= urine examination 10 days ago). My nephrologists say that it must be reduced < 1 g/day. Also my blood values are better now. As I have to continue with the intake of the 2 immune suppressors before I can taper it over several months I have become very sensitive to infections which is not so easy for my current nurse studies.
Therefore I want to ask you if there is any other Chinese medicine that could improve my condition. Should I order the same herbal tea once more or what would you recommend?

We have made 20 even dosages for you. A piece (dosage) a day. Please decoct a dosage once per day. The concrete steps are that first, put the herbal powders in a jar or a mug with about 1000ml to 1200ml water. Soak the powders for twenty minutes. Heat the water to the boiling point with strong fire, then make the fire to be mild and decoct (i.e., simmer) the herbal powders for about 30 minutes. When the herbal powders are being decocted, please frequently stir the powders and water with a stick or a scoop so that the powders will not stick to the edges of the jar and the powders will not be burned. This is very important. When the decoction is lukewarm, please filter the decoction with the cloth we offer you. Wrap the powders with the cloth and use the power of your hands to press the cloth bag till all the decoction is filtered out and the herbal powders become dry. In this way, about 400ml to 500ml pure decoction will be got. Please take 200ml in the morning. Take another 200ml in the afternoon after making it lukewarm.
During the period of using medicine, please take care the following things. Have more nutritious foods; have a due consideration to good rest; take less pungent or fatty foods; relax the mind. If you feel the tea is too much bitter, you could put a little bit sugar into the tea.

Major Complaint:
Biopsy + electron-microscopical examination confirmed diagnosis: Minimal Change Glomerulonephrotis which ended in a Nephrotic Syndrome with urinary protein excretion exceeding 10gram/day and severe endema over the whole body. Now after 4 weeks intake of Prednison 75 mg/day + ACE blocker Enalapril 30 mg/day the urinary protein excretion is 2 g/day and weight is normal again. Hope that I have no more urinary protein excretion after 6 weeks of cortisone intake but hope I can take a special Chinese medicine simultaneously to Prednison to avoid relapse. Live strict diet now: no salt intake, no sugar intake, plenty of vegetables and fruits, only olive oil and low fat meat, cereals, plenty of water intake. Feel better again, can continue my college studies again but side effects of high daily cortisone doses are starting after 4 weeks (face became rounder, weight increase of 2 kilos).
Favorites:
my diet now: no salt, no sugar, plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits, cereals, low fat cheese, low fat meat, drink plenty of water Stopped smoking when I got sick (Nephrotic Syndrome). My grandfather and an uncle (in southeast Asia) suffer kidney problems, too.
Laboratory Check:
Nephrologist diagnosis was confirmed after biopsy+ electron-microscopical examination by European specialsts: Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome Must have had the children desease Minimal Change Glomerulonephrosis for longer, but wasnt recognised before. Have some allergies (neurodermitis, cat enzyma). Prior to the Nephrotic Syndrome a had an immunization (Polio...) and a cough. But no kindney problems, none other serious problems before.

Would like to try what is most effective in my case. Is there anything that I can take not only now simultaneously to the cortison therapy but after discontinouing the Prednison to prevent that the desease becomes chronic?
